Can I bring it on a plane?
Search the items travellers actually question. Get separate carry-on and checked-bag answers for UK departures or US/TSA departures, with conditions and official sources.
Popular packing answers
These are useful starting points, not blanket approval. Select the item above for the reviewed UK or US conditions and source list.
Power banks
Cabin baggage only. The current ICAO baseline limits passengers to two power banks and prohibits recharging them on board; watt-hours and airline approval still matter.
Vapes and e-cigarettes
Cabin baggage only, protected from accidental activation. Do not use or recharge the device on board, and check destination possession and import law.
Razors
Disposable and fixed-cartridge razors are normally allowed in carry-on baggage. Loose blades and safety razors containing a removable blade belong in checked baggage.
Liquid medicine over 100ml
Medically necessary liquids can qualify for an exemption, but evidence, declaration and screening requirements differ between UK and US departures.

What changes the answer
What this checker does — and does not do
It combines airport-security screening rules with aviation dangerous-goods rules. It does not replace a security officer, airline approval, customs law or a destination-country ban. When the official sources do not support a simple yes, the result stays conditional.
Liquid preparation varies by airport. Use the Airport Security Rules Checker for the checkpoints on your itinerary.
